So its my first build and I have a parts list that I'm pretty satisfied with but I wanted the advice of the amazing PC community. My PC budget is around $1000 US but I have other stuff in the list that is separate from the budget(PC currently sits at about 950).

I have a some questions about this build. I have heard mixed things about the cooler and the hyper 212. I have also been considering the cryorig h7 so which is best for me?
The other thing I really want suggestions on is the monitor. I could spend 200 but under 150 is preferred.
I also wanted to know if there was any real difference between ddd4 and ddr3 and which I should go for.
Would another case fan help?

The build will be used for gaming(enough for games at 1080 60fps at ultra settings?) Suggestions on anything are welcome. I wanna build this PC over the summer so maybe prices will decrease by then (will they? )

Thank you so much!

I made some changes.

That cooler is low end you can't overclock with it. Also you don't need thermal paste the cooler comes with it. The PSU you picked is garbage, the G2 is worlds better. This all costs a little more but FAR better value for your money:

For the cooler, you will find close to a 50-50 split between those recommending the Hyper 212 and the Cryorig H7, with the Cryorig usually winning out.

For a monitor, at that price range you likely just want a relatively simple 1080p 60 Hz and they should be abundant.

As for the RAM, your motherboard will require DDR4. What you have on your parts list is a good choice.

My suggestions would be to possibly look at different cases, depending on your budget. I like the Fractal Define R5 or some of Phantek's offerings.

I might also suggest a different power supply, maybe one of the EVGA Supernova models.
