Is a liquid cooler necessary if I don't overclock

Solution

Closed loop liquid coolers are seldom any better than their air cooler counter parts.

They're both air coolers in the end, just the all in one water coolers add a radiator to either an intake or exhaust point, which often messes with the case airflow/cooling. In general, unless you need AIO water for a small form factor build, or aesthetics, I suggest sticking to air coolers like the Hyper 212.

Edit: And to add to what others are saying, the stock cooler is fine.

Solution

1. CLC type liquid coolers do not perform as well equivalently priced air coolers and are much louder.

2. The 7500 doesn't need any cooler other than the Intel Stock Cooler that comes in the box with it
