Solution chemmajorp53 Mar 30, 2017 That's the right socket. There are 2 little notches like this on the side of the processor that match up with the notches in the socket http://www.pcstats.com/articleimages/201206/install1155_DSCF3460.jpg That gold arrow on the processor also matches with an arrow on the motherboard
