Hello. I recently put together my new gaming PC.
My Specs:
MOBO: ASUS Maximus VIII Hero
CPU: Intel I7 6700k Skylake
Hard Drive: 256 Transend SSD
Case: Thermal Take Core P3 SE
PSU: 500 EVGA watt supply
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming X
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x8) 16 gigs. 3000 MHz.
CPU Cooler: Corsair H75. Used pre-applied thermal paste.
The problem I am having is each time I turn on the PC, the fans run and the lights turn on, however I do not get a signal from the GPU. Each time I turn on the monitors I get "HDMI No Signal."

Naturally, I looked it up on online. The tech forums said that I need to update my BIOS via flashdrive. So I downloaded the file on a PC and renamed it to "M8H.CAP." However, when I plugged it in, the BIOS blue button blinks a couple of times and then turns solid blue. In addition, I have a red light (NOT FLASHING) on the motherboard next to the RAM. It is labeled as "CPU_LED." The Q Code stays on 00, I have noticed. If anyone can help me that would be great, thanks.

*Update: I have ordered two more motherboards of the same type, one had bent CPU and motherboard pins, and another did not display a signal either. I have given up on this motherboard and instead opted out for a Asus STRIX Z270E Gaming motherboard from B&H.*

Problem is I want to stay with my Skylake, are there any concerns I should know about pairing a 270 board with the last generation of Intel? Thank you.

My processor is a I7-6700k. It has no pins, but if I shine a light on it at just the right angle, I see some light black marks.
