I currently have a Coolermaster 350W RS350 PSU and am getting an RX 460 to upgrade my potato.
I mostly need to play overwatch and am already out of budget ordering the RX460; will it suffice? The PSU?
I know the bare minimum is 350W but since it's an i3 it should be fine right?
Also went through another thread where the community advocated a bare 300W for i3+RX 460 but I still need to be sure.

Did you read the linked article ? You system is considerably less than average. If not overclocking anything.... no worry. The card has the same tested power draw as the 1050 / 1050 Ti

1050 = 70 watts
RX 460 = 73 watts
1050 Ti = 77 watts

This is Guru3D's generic power supply recommendation for the series:

AMD Radeon RX 460 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 350 Watt power supply unit as minimum.

If you are going to overclock GPU or processor, then we do recommend you purchase something with some more stamina.
The card draws just 73 watts ... everything else in your load won't chnage the recommendation below where they used a i7-5960X Extreme Edition

I won't be indulging in any OC processes.
Pretty sure.
All I need is a confirmation on whether it would be sufficient or not.
Thank You.

Its 20$ more here for just the 1050 nevermind the Ti
The rx 460 is a couple bucks cheaper than a 750ti here.

Ahah I did read the article mate.
It's just that I'm the kind of person who likes to be told in concrete terms to or be yelled at to take action lmao.
Thank you, guess I'll go forward with the purchase.
Cheers.

I can give you the information you need to make a decision which is what you should be insisting upon rather than just believe some guy you saw post on the internet whose knowledge and qualifications you have no means to ascertain. You gotta put on the 'big boy pants' and make the final decision. :)

Does your power supply unit have at least one 75 Watt 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector and is its combined +12 Volt continuous current rating is 20 Amps or greater?

The 460 w/ a TDP < 75 watts often doesn't have a 6-pin cable connection ... both varieties exist tho

Thank You so much :)
I'm gonna go through with it. And my monitor's also 900p so I'll enjoy this slightly more than I would have with a 1080p reso haha.
