I am Considering buying a PowerColor Red Devil Rx 480 GPU, and i was wondering if my pc could support its power intake. My Current Setup is a Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 Motherboard with an AMD FX-8370 Processor, a MSI Radeon R7 250 OC 2GB, And a Corsair VS600 600 Watt PSU. With this and the additional Fans, Usb 3.0 slots and Drives, it uses about 400W. If I were to Replace my Current R7 250 with a Red Devil Rx480 8GB, Would My Computer Support it Without Needing a PSU Upgrade?

RX480 requires 30A on the 12v rail and 500w.

Your PSU is 500w with 48A on the 12v rail (more than enough). You're set.
Assuming this is your PSU: http://www.corsair.com/en-ww/vs-series-vs600-600-watt-80-plus-white-certified-psu-na

They are no where near the same wattage.
R7 250 is ~75w
RX 480 is ~150w

Having said that, his PSU is still more then enough to handle a 480.

Corsair VS series are poor quality. Bottom of their lineup. Should be able to handle that card if it was working with the old one. For a little while anyway.

And do not mistake the 75w/150w plug standards as what power a card can actually draw, or the PSU can put out.

The R7 250 results are for total system load and the 480 results are for the card only.

Edit: The R7 250 has no external power connectors so all of its power comes from the PCIe slot which is rated for 75w, if the card stays within spec, you would burn out the motherboard trying to pull 150w through the PCIe slot.
