Hi, I had this little blue audio card that I used with my speaker system, it worked great until like a year later it wasnt working! So I checked the software to make certain nothing changed in the setting I even updated it, still nothing. So I bought a brand new audio card for my system and still the same problems! It thinks it's a center channel but it's not. Please help me! I dont know whats wrong and it's not my sub because I tested it with my Denon home theater amp. So far my experience with C-Media is very bad! :fou:

Edit: I am using one of those AUX to composite adapters, I tested that too. Heres a picture of my config: https://imgur.com/a/eYtHW

What is that "AUX to composite adapter"? Is it an adapter that converts one 3.5mm male jack (with tip, ring and sleeve) into two round RCA female connectors (with one hole in each)? That would allow you to plug your subwoofer into one RCA output, and your Center channel speaker into the other.

IF that is what you are using, just reverse which RCA male is plugged into which female output connector.

Individual audio jacks and yes there is a shared jack.

And I tried what you said Paperdoc, I either didn't get what you said and did it wrong or it didn't work.

Software from the manufacturers website for your card should allow this jack to be configured.
What are you actually hearing from the sub? If the card is sending the wrong channel it should still work. If the sub receives a full range signal it will just reproduce the frequencies it can (anything up to 150 Hz for systems with very small satellite speakers).

I did get it directly from their site and there is no audio at all coming from the sub.
