If you measure from the base of your present installed cooler do you have 159mm to the case panel?

The 755 Minitower also has the CPU rotated 45 degrees so one corner would be fairly close to the edge of the board, but the Cooler Master mounting system allows for rotating the cooler somewhat.

I don't see why you'd want to do this as the stock cooler directly vents the heat out of the case which is poorly ventilated.

No it won't fit. The mounting holes are not the standard 775. The best you can do is their copper heatsink. You really shouldn't be having heat issues if it's clean. Btx is optimized to cool the cpu.

D9729 is the Dell heatpipe cooler for Optiplex MT, T9303 cools a little better in O/C situations but requires some work to fit in the cover which holds it down. That's what's in the E520 in my sig.
