Pc fan speeds up at shut down. Windows 10

This is probably normal.
When I sleep, hibernate or shut down when my cpu or gpu is warm after gaming my fan speeds up a bit at the final stage of turning off, the hotter it is the faster it goes but it then turns of when the pc is unlike the other threads. Again this is probably normal.

Is CPU fan really fast at start up and then slows once windows loads? That is what mine does, I can't say I noticed at shutdown

I am just guessing here but it could be the final step of shutdown is controlled by motherboard and it uses default bios settings for the fans at that stage.

I think its just normal.

thanks I think the same I just noticed it because the fan was already at a speed so when the fan speeds up for the final stage I notice it more than when it is at normal heat.
