Basically when I play Battlefield 1 mp on any map i never get more than 60 fps on ultra .. now I know you are gonna say i5 4440 cannot handle the game but I played the game before on ultra with 60+ fps all the time. I'm returning after 1 month and decided to play bf1 and im getting 30-40 fps ultra.

Anyone who says that a core i5 can't handle BF1 is flat-out lying. BF1 does just fine with 4C/4T CPUs, & even AMD 4C/8T & 3C/6T CPUs do OK in it (http://www.techspot.com/review/1267-battlefield-1-benchmarks/page4.html).

As to not getting more than 60FPS...have you checked to make sure VSync isn't turned on? If it's on, then it won't matter that your GTX 1070 can go to ~90FPS at 1440p resolutions (http://www.techspot.com/review/1267-battlefield-1-benchmarks/page2.html), because it'll be locked at 60FPS anyway.

And I also have to reiterate the question about resolution. The GTX 1070 is mad powerful for 1080p resolutions, & perfect for 1440p resolutions...but at 4K resolutions, it's going to struggle to hit 50FPS...

So, if you're deadset on playing BF1 at 4K resolutions, you're going to want at least a GTX 1080 if not a 1080TI. If you're playing at a lower resolution, then check the usual suspects: GPU temps, CPU temps, background apps, HDD/SSD issues, etc.

Did I stutter?

Did you even bother looking at the actual benchmarks...you know, the ones where the Skylake i5's minimum framerates were over 60FPS, & that was with an R9 Fury X instead of the top-line GTX 1080/Titan X cards they also tested with? Or that those "low" minimum framerates were using DX12, & that with DX11 the Skylake i5's minimum and average framerates were identical to those of the i7? And did you even notice that the i7 was even clocked higher than the i5 (4.0GHz vs. 3.5GHz), yet still was no better than the i5?

Guess it's time for you to get back to class & brush up on your reading comprehension skills...
