Which SSD is a better buy?

Solution
850 Evo is quick but may not be faster after a sustained workload that saturates the SLC cache. It's fast enough if you are stuck on SATA--you may think differently on NVMe.

The big thing is the reliability--Samsung seems to be the only 3D NAND manufacturer that's got its act together and some of them are downright sketchy.

Agreed, Samsung are one of the, if not the best SSD manufacturer in terms of Performance and Software tweaking for it. The 850 Evo is no doubt faster than SD900 and well worth the slight fraction higher price. Hope this helps :)

Are you sure 850 evo is faster? SU900 got 3D MLC which should be faster and have more endurance than TLC?
I know 850 evo is good, but I havent seen any reviews on su900. Its been on retail only few months and the price is close. That is why I am asking.
