I recently got a Gaming PC and I want to record gameplay videos with my voice however the PC has 2 seperate jacks (One for Headphones one for Microphone). I have a headset which i previously used for my PS4 which only has one jack and has a microphone on the side. Is there any way that I can connect the headset so that I can both record my voice and hear the sound on it?

Have you installed the audio drivers and motherboard ones? Newest and from the manufacturers site?
If not do that.

Then try again with only the USB.

If the headset has a USB then you will be able to use it as headphones and also a microphone input. There might be no need to connect the microphone jack altogether.

Try that first, and make sure your PC has the latest audio drivers. They will be available at your motherboards site under drivers.

Sorry for the very late reply but the headset does have both a jack and USB. However when I connect it to the USB port absolutely nothing happened. And I'm pretty sure I do have updated drivers as I got a clean install of Windows and I installed all the drivers from scratch
