Thank you for the help, If this is in the wrong section please let me know.

I am ok with overclocking, I am aware of the different in price. But I figure get the best now, and not complain about it later. I picked the AMD platform because of the projected life span of the AM4 socket. But I am open an Intel CPU as well. I would like to get the best long term use out of my investment. There is no 3D card listed due to the 1080 ti on it's way now (who knew Nvidia shipped from Minnesota). I have a 3440x1440 75hz monitor, So these below are the final things I am having issues with.

CPU: AMD RYZEN 7 1800X 3.6GHz 8-Core Processor ($498.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($99.99 @ Jet)
Motherboard: Asus CROSSHAIR VI HERO ATX AM4 Motherboard ($248.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($134.99 @ B&H)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($134.99 @ B&H)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($177.89 @ OutletPC)
Case: NZXT S340 Elite (White) ATX Mid Tower Case ($89.99 @ SuperBiiz)

If you do this and overclock you will have the same performance as your current build also upped wattage to 850 incase you want to SLI later on.

If this is exclusively for gaming id probably switch to intel as that would give you better performance in games.

Why did you switch out the AIO to an Air cooler?

That cooler has no maintenance and the mess of AIO and it matches most AIO in performance for cheaper price.

Time will tell as far as Ryzen's gaming performance once games optimize for it.

At this point in time though intel is better for gaming, and has better IPC efficiency.
Your 8core 16 thread ryzen has the potential to be a better gameing machine then a current i7 if games optimize for Ryzen and will use the cores/threads; but right now today the i7 is the superior platform.

Thank you, I have never used an AIO, So I only assumed better cooling. Thank you for the information.
