I have dq57tm mobo. I typed in the exact specs for the memory and found these G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9Q-16GBXL. Should be compatible but they dont work. 1stick in any slot i will get blue screen. 2 sticks and just keeps rebooting. Help please

But back to your old memory and all is fine.

I would say your memory settings in the BIOS are way incorrect. If you pull the CMOS battery it should force the system to read the settings. Now that doesn't necessarily mean that the memory will work, but it should be a better starting point than now.

The list I linked above are the models of memory that have been tested working with that board. Thats the list you should pick from, should you need to replace the memory.

The board supports DDR3 1333

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/desktop-boards/000006611.html

And tons of PC3 10666 models

Maybe not this particular model but its because it hasn't been tested. Due to the age of the board its likely that this newer design Ripjaws X is simply incompatible possibly due to the chips or chip setup used.

I went to the system specs direct from the manual. I typed the exact discription into google and those were what popped up. Is there anything I can do to make these work?

Are you able to get int the BIOS at all, even with 1 stick in?

Have you tried resetting the CMOS (with the computer unplugged pull the little watch battery out of the board for a minute).?

Yes I can get into bios with all of them. 1, 2, or 4. Everytime it goes to where it says Windows then with 1 stick I get blue screen. With 2 or more I get restarting over and over until I shut it down. I have not tried that but I am no professional. That might take a little time to figure out
