Hey all, recently I removed my fx 6300/970 extreme4/ddr3 combo to opt for a newer intel set.(Yea, yea ryzen, I found an i5 6500 for 180aud)Removing the motherboard took some strength and something may have been damaged in the proces. To boot into the UEFI and make sure all components are working, is this all I would need plugged in? PSU(duh), cpu, ram and a hdd? And for the hdd, if I unplug one from my current rig and plug it in to the old mobo to test, would it wipe the drive?(I ONLY want to boot into UEFI) Thank you everyone for your help. :)
