Help with usb flashback to update bios?

Hey there, so I've got an i5 7500 kaby lake as well as an asus prime b250m motherboard, the cpu fits great as it should but the mother board has its bios a ton 0303. To use the 7th gen processors you need to update the bios to 0607. My question is does this motherboard have flashback, as I can't seem to find anywhere with a list of asus boards. This is a new build and my first pc I've built, so I don't have a skylake processor.

You need 0308 according to the manufacturer's website -- https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-B250M-A/HelpDesk_CPU/

If it has 0303 then it is older than any BIOS versions listed on the website.

Okay great I couldn't find a list of that for that motherboard? Does this mobo support usb flashback to update without a cpu? Sorry I've looked but can't confirm or deny it, if not how would I go about putting the updated bios on there?

I dont think there is a B250M. If it needs BIOS 0308 and if BIOS 0303 is on it now, the only way you're going to update is to take it to a shop

Since it doesnt support BIOS flashback

It needs BIOS 0308 not 0607

Ah thank you for the answer, out of the box it supports kaby lake, which I thought it didn't and figured that's why my new build wouldn't boot up and instead just shut off and try again, it's actually the ram it matches everything but it's not on asus' compatible ram part numbers so I'll need to get some that is matches one of the numbers, thank you very much though!

It will support Kaby Lake since it's still socket 1151.

What most places fail to tell you is some need a BIOS update to support a Kaby Lake CPU

Like yours if BIOS 0303 is on it (if thats your mobo) it needs BIOS 0308 to support that Kaby Lake

If BIOS 0308 isnt on it now it's never going to post
