Will an AMD HD 3870 work on a optiplex 755?

I want to upgrade my graphics card and I have three choices:
AMD radeon 7550
AMD radeon 6670
and AMD 3870
the first two are expensive and they need more power requirements but are better than the 3870,on the other hand,the 3870 is just what I need I want to play games like battle field 3 and 4 in med or low settings.

That is a poor candidate for a gfx card. It requires a single slot/single width card. There are none that will game very well except at low resolution, low settings.
What is your budget for a card?

Thanks for replying,I have a desktop 755 with a 512 mb geforce 210 (I know it is bad) which needs a single slot this one is the same one as mine https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-SYNERGY-GeForce-Graphics-ZT-20302-10L/dp/B0046U6Y1Y sorry couldn't find better pics than those in amazon hope it helps :\,a core two duo e6550 2.33GHz cpu and 2 gb of rams (planing to get 4 gb for bf4)
yeah the 755 is not very good but I hope to find something,
I know it may be strange but I am currently playing bf3 on low resolution and low settings with 24 fps :\ I dont know how XD.
Also I am not gonna buy any card soon,but I will,and I need to know what to choose.

In that case you will be limited to single slot cards on ly, as you seem to be aware. And that doesn't mean single slot cards with a wide protruding cooler attached. If those are cards above are the ones you can find that are single slot, then they should be fine. Again,thanks for replying.
I see that GT 740 and 730 are cheaper and use less power,thank you very much for mentioning them,but I want to ask just to be sure,will those two fit in my motherboard slot...?,also how do I know which gen is my PCIe....?,and even if they fit,is there anything else I should know that will maybe make them incompatible to the 755...?
I checked game-debate and it says that both of the ones you mentioned will play bf3 and bf4 fine in low to med settings is that true..?
Sorry for all these questions but I am kind of new to those things.

Keep in mind, you will need a low profile card since you have the desktop version of the Optiplex 955. Unfortunately, that eliminates all the GT 740 cards, leaving just the GT 730. This is the GT 730 I have in one of my machines. It is one of the fastest of the 730s: https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Profile-Graphics-02G-P3-3733-KR/dp/B00L5GZG5C

There should be no issue with any of them fitting your board's PCIe x16 slot. And PCie is a backward compatible interface. So any PCIe version will work, just at the slower version bandwidth. Which isn't an issue with cards of that class.

Depending on the screen resolution of your monitor, BF3/4 should be playable if you reduce settings enough. Here is a video of BF4 running on a similar dual core from that era and a GT 730:

But it's running at 1280x768 resolution (720p), which helps a lot.
