So this game (PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds if that helps) bricked my pc and now, 5 hours later, it still can't even get to the login screen. The game started lagging and my pc started sounding like a jet taking flight, then it shut down. I touched my case and it was super hot and I kind of smelled burning, but not much. I need to know if there is a simple fix (long shot, I know) and if not, what I need to replace and what I should replace it with.

Specs:

GPU - GTX 1060

CPU- AMD Phenom ii X6 1055t

MOBO- Asus M4A89GTD Pro USB 3.0

RAM - 8GB

PSU - EVGA 750w

Solution
There's no simple fix since your PC got fried. Most probably due to insufficient cooling and neglect of cleaning dust out of your system.

Open up your case and look which component got fried.
If it's the CPU (and/or MoBo) then you might as well buy a new PC. Or CPU-MoBo-RAM combo with the new Windows license. Like this one:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-7500 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($189.49 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI B250M BAZOOKA Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($73.89 @ OutletPC)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($63.99 @ Jet)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit...
if you smelled smoke then theres an issue... either something has blown or failed in some way.
its an old build so i would look at the motherboard first.
open the case and check the caps. for a start... if your not comfy doing this take it to a local pc shop... (best use a uv pen before you do this and mark each component with it that way you will know if he has replaced anything or removed something they shouldnt)
