I recently got my hands on a gtx 980 graphics card but my current mobo which is approximately 6 years old is bottle-necking its true potential as the mobo doesn't have a pci 3.0 slot, also the maximum ram supported is 1333mhz ddr3 ram. I dont have a major budget right now so I cannot upgrade the processor(i5 2500) which is why I am looking to just upgrade the mobo and buy some fast ram as well. Will this mobo which is a micro atx fit my gtx 980?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Their no reason to upgrade a motherboard that GTX 980 will not saturate the PCI-E 2.0 lane so their will be no performance difference. The memory speed difference will make about no difference either.
The video card has nothing to do with fitting a motherboard it just must fit in the PC case.
