Fist PC Build nothing turn on (only fans) HELP ASP BUILDING IT RIGHT NOW

Ok so nothing was powering on when i pressed the power button so i did the paper clip thing and my case fans turned on... but when i plugged it into my motherboard nothing powered on... help?

1st thing to check is that the Power Switch connector is connected correctly to the motherboard header.

Yeah i checked its a 20 pin connector but for some reason theres 1 pin missing from it

Ohhhh wait the power switch connector i think i plugged it wrong but i have no idea how to plug it in cant find it in manual... i have the b350 tomahawk

Thats not the connector I mean (and 1 inactive pin connection is normal, btw). I'm talking about the connectors for the tower...there'll be a Power Switch, a Reset Switch, HDD Activity Light, etc that all connect to the motherboard.
