I'm in the middle of only my second build since I started going the home built route. I have the above PSU but I noticed that the PSU unit cable for the 24 pin mobo connector has a 24 and 10 pin connection that is going into the unit. My last build was four years ago and that PSU had only one 24 pin into the unit itself, and this is the first time I have seen the 24 + 10 cable.
I am connecting it to a MSI Z270 M7 that has only the 24 pin connection. Do I plug the 24 AND the 10 into the PSU still, or just the 24 pin and leave the 10 out? I'm just worried about possbily providing too much juice to the mobo.
Thanks!
