Upgrading PC, Help!
Hey guys,
So recently, a "old" system was passed on to me, and I was thinking about upgrading it before I passed it on to my brother before. But I know nothing about upgrading PCs.
The current computer has this setup:
OS: Windows 7 Pro
System Model: Precision Workstation T7500
Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5570 @ 2.93GHz, 2926Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5570 @ 2.93GHz, 2926Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
(Yes, there are two processors)
RAM: 48GB
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 730
For more background information, a friend of his was telling me that it would be awesome to get the graphics updated to GTX 1080 Ti in SLI (No idea what SLI is. I think thats what he said?)
What do you guys think? Would it work? Would it be a optimal system?
