No monitor single (NEW PC MAKING IT RIGHT NOW NEED HELP FAST)

Making my new pc right now

Specs:

ASUS 23" LED-Backlit LCD Monitor (VS238H-P)

MSI B350 TOMAHAWK ARCTIC AM4 AMD B350 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI ATX Motherboards -

AMD RYZEN 7 1700 8-Core 3.0 GHz (3.7 GHz Turbo) Desktop Processor- YD1700BBAEBOX

Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001 2TB 3.5" SATA III Desktop Hard Drive

I have everything plugged in but when i try to connect my pc to the monitor it keeps saying no single i tried it without a graphics card (no single) tryed dvi and hdmi still did't work

EDIT: my cpu is getting hot if that means anything
 
Solution
if your monitor is using a vga out connection, that is your problem. Your video card is outputting a digital signal, while your monitor is expecting an analog signal and is clueless with a digital one. If the monitor uses hdmi/dvi, then I would try different ports on the back of the card if there are more than one.
If you have a speaker on the motherboard, do you hear any beeps when starting it up? It's also possible your motherboard is not posting, therefore the video is never booted up.
