I bought a Samsung 850 Evo 250GB M.2 ssd and from what I can see it has both an M and a B key. I am looking to buy a PCIe adapter for my computer because my motherboard does not have an M.2 slot and I was wondering whether or not this adapter would work. It only has an M key but shouldn't the ssd fit right in anyways since it has both the M and the B key?

This is the link to the PCIe adapter:

Yes I am planning to boot from it. Shouldn't it just appear as a drive in the BIOS?

I have a MSI 990FXA motherboard with a FX-8370 processor. I am going to have Windows 10 and a few of the programs that I use most often on the SSD and other programs like Battlefield on my WD 1TB Black hard drive. This should be doable, right?

You'll need to verify that this board can actually boot from a PCI-E connected drive.
Not all can.
And I do not believe this one can.

I am not sure but from what I read off of this thread, it seems that I can boot from the PCIe drive as look as it is in UEFI mode.

I am not quite sure what the difference is between EUFI and other things. Is it something to replace BIOS, or does it have something to do with Legacy stuff. I don't know what Legacy is either so if you could give me a quick rundown of both I would really appreciate it.

I was looking on the web and there does not seem to be that much information for my motherboard about booting from a PCIe device. I was wondering what made you think that my motherboard might not support the feature? Just want to know so I might have more of an idea of what to look for.
