Bad PSU causing crashes?

I have a pc that crashes at random times without warning. The monitor shuts off, the keyboard becomes unresponsive, and the speakers cut out, but all of the lights and fans on the tower stays on and running.

The graphics card is a nearly brand new GTX 960, so I don't believe it is the problem, and neither are the cables. I learned that a bad PSU could cause these issues, but how do I know what PSU will work best?

It has an Antec 850 watt output as of now.

Solution
Antec is a good brand, and 850w is more than enough.
I doubt that is your problem.

I would do a clean reinstall of the latest nvidia driver.
If no joy, consider a rma for the graphics card.

Are you monitoring temps? If not, download CAM and run a stress test so you can see if anything is running hot. I had a similar problem, with a laptop, and it turned out my CPU was overheating. Had to take it apart and apply new thermal paste.
