Hi,
I was trying to reformat my old ASUS K53E laptop but was having issues reading the HDD that I was using. Guides on the ASUS website listed settings that weren't within my BIOS, so I decided to update it to the latest version using their official download.
I had an error message about the BIOS versions not matching so I clicked what I thought was 'No' but it proceeded to flash the old BIOS and install the new version. After this, the laptop shutdown and will not power on.
I've tried to power up the laptop without the battery to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated.
