I'm creating a custom PC at the moment, and beginning to bring together my parts. For my cpu i bought the Intel i5 3570S 3.10GHz, thinking it wasn't really much different from a i5 3570K 3.40GHz. Can they still fit into the same motherboard as each other (like if i had both CPU's and put both in at separate times, would they fit in the same mother board and work?((again, not at the same time)))

If so, what motherboards would you recommend that are still in stock?
or, should i re-sell it/ get my money back and buy a better one? if so which one?

Solution
Yes, they're cross-compatible.

However, you're not going to find any new 1155 boards. They've been out of production for something like 4 years now. If you want to use these older CPUs, your best bet is to hit up eBay.
