Hello

I want to buy a new tiny PC and Motherboards for the 7th Gen are like 30€ more expensive tan for the 6th. Does it worth the price to have the new one?

Thanks for your help =)

The 7th gen (i3-7100) is only 5% better in performance than the 6th gen (i3-6100). If your 30 euros is a big deal for you (esp. if you have a tight budget), there won't be much of a performance difference between the two. http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i3-7100-vs-Intel-Core-i3-6100/3891vs3511

In fact, if you really want to save a lot of money for almost the same performance of the i3-6100, then consider getting the much much affordable 7th-gen Pentium G4560. This CPU has 2 cores but with hyperthreading (not evident in previous Pentium generations) making it run on 4 threads like the i3's. The G4560 will give the i3-6100 a run for its money. http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Pentium-G4560-vs-Intel-Core-i3-6100/3892vs3511

Ok!! Then I'll leave it like that. Is not that I'm on a super budget mode, but I don't want to expend more money that I need. I want something usefull for that purpose and also something better that what I've now (i3 4130).

PS: also I heard some special config for the AMD graphic cards for cinema uses so if getting one basic is better for the use, I don't mind buying one =)

Lol why don’t you get a Tv for god sake lol
You’re the first one I heard building a pc for watching movies and shows
Ps:No offense here just curious (you know that tv looks much better than when it comes to watching stuff right?)
