In fact, if you really want to save a lot of money for almost the same performance of the i3-6100, then consider getting the much much affordable 7th-gen Pentium G4560. This CPU has 2 cores but with hyperthreading (not evident in previous Pentium generations) making it run on 4 threads like the i3's. The G4560 will give the i3-6100 a run for its money. http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Pentium-G4560-vs-Intel-Core-i3-6100/3892vs3511
For movies/shows as main use of your PC, then definitely get the G4560 for best price/performance. You can still pair that CPU with a GTX 1050 (or Ti) if you want basic 1080p resolution gaming as secondary use of your PC.
Ok!! Then I'll leave it like that. Is not that I'm on a super budget mode, but I don't want to expend more money that I need. I want something usefull for that purpose and also something better that what I've now (i3 4130).
Lol why don’t you get a Tv for god sake lol
You’re the first one I heard building a pc for watching movies and shows
Ps:No offense here just curious (you know that tv looks much better than when it comes to watching stuff right?)
