I think the Intel stock cooler is a cheapy all alloy low profile job with a cheap fan that tends to whine a bit when it gets faster.
However, just as long as you have some thermal paste applied, I think it will be fine. After all, if the cpu gets too hot the fan will start thrashing and may throttle. I had a stock Intel heatsink on my i5 750 for 5 years and was no problem.
