I have used WinDirStat to try to figure out what is going on, but to no avail. I have a 1TB external HDD that I use for misc storage and have about 250 GB worth of stuff on it as of right now. The problem is that WinDirStat is showing I only have about 500GB and when just checking the properties of the HDD through the explorer it shows that over 600 has been used. I am confused and concerned.
Edit: Sorry got WinDirStat to show me the other half of my HDD. It just says unknown and is close to 500GB. Won't let me open it or anything. Nothing shows when going to my HDD to see what is there as well.
