Hey Guys,

I'm going to buy and build a new computer and I'm wondering which motherboard is best suited for the other components. This is going to be a gaming computer. These are my two choices:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NFDsBP

And to make sure, I would like to know if all the parts are compatible, and I would also like to know if there is any parts that could be swapped out for better performance for the same price.
Thank you for your time.

Solution
Both the mobos you listed are good but I am suggesting a third option, the Asus PRIME Z270-A. I have found that this board seems to be recommended by more professional reviewers than any other board. Changed the GPU too but that is just price, all 1070's seem to perform about the same. Noticed that you did not have any storage, added an SSD and an HDD. Changed the case, the 410 has one of Tom's highest ratings. Price went up by $50.

CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($343.22 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($99.99 @ Jet)
Motherboard...
A few notes...

> The board has loads of connectivity and features including Bluetooth and Wifi.
> Better RAM and Graphics card.
> This PSU is equally capable as the RMx while being much more cheaper.
> All parts compatible.

I'd sink the money into the core components. Minor upgrades can be made later.

I've been shopping more over here https://jet.com/product/Zotac-GeForce-GTX-1080-Graphic-Card-161-GHz-Core-173-GHz-Boost-Clock-8-GB-GDDR5X/1f9be5d5147a44e0b3bc4bb633d311fc . That's just another option. I prefer the MSI 1080. Enter triple15 at checkout to receive a 15%(~$75) discount. Buy more and save more.
