Hello. i have 4 sticks of ram 4 GB of hyperX blu 1333 mhz KHX1333C9D3B1/4G, my mobo is asrock p65icafe H61 chipset with core i5 3350p. The manual states that only accepts single-sided ram for 4 slots to achieve dualchanel with both
FURY Memory Blue - 4GB Module - DDR3 1600MHz CL10 DIMM is one of the recommended in kingston. both of the memories shows screens that are single sided. My psu is an old CODEGEN 850 W 12 v that form some reason has 1 pin smoked. my system can afford 8 gb of ram with 2 sticks but when adding a third it reboot itself. tried both pair slots individual and by pairs and it work. Is it the specs? am i going to buy a real power psu? thanks for the answers. Im glad this forum site helped me so many times now i want to post my issue.

Solution
Did you set the xmp profile in bios?

Did you buy the four sticks as a single set or were they individual (or two pairs of two)?

Edit: if you know that something in your psu failed, then yes I'd get a new one. Not something to let linger.

thanks. Yes they are individual not in pairs.
edt: i dont have xmp config enabled. im going to test a new psu with a friend. also sometimes my pc reboots by itself whilenplaying games. overall 8 gb are just fine for this pc runs aaa titles planetside 2 flawlesly.

edit 2. looking atthe ram inside of it i see that they are in fact double sided. if i want 16 gb the ram must be one sided to work. 2x8gb hyperx should do the trick. ty for the feedback. im gonna change my psu
