I have a big doubt, I currently got my PC parts and I am starting my build next month, I am saving up to buy an Asus Strix 1080TI gpu when available and am wondering what cable a should use to get the best experience out of 4k and HDR; Do I go HDMI or DVI?? I am gonna buy the (not yet out) Asus ROG Swift pg27uq. Which is also an 144hz monitor with nvidia g-syn tech, 4k support, 1ms, HDR 10 ready.
Current parts on my build:
Cpu: Intel core i7-7700k
Motherboard: Asus Strix Z270E Gaming
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB LED 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3000 (PC4-24000) C15 - Intel 100/200 Series PC Memory (CMR16GX4M2C3000C15)
CPU Cooler:Corsair Hydro Series H110i Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler Cooling.
PSU: Corsair HXi Series, HX1000i, 1000 Watt (1000W), Fully Modular Power Supply, 80+ Platinum Certified
GPU: Planning to get Asus ROG Strix Geforce GTX 1080 TI OC.
