In a separate thread I created I described that my PC is having issues, I'm getting the Kernal Power Error and I am doing everything I can to come find a solution. I have ensured my system has enough power with a 550W EVGA Supernova G2. (No Overclocking on the PC whatsoever)

I downloaded GPUTest and I set it up for fullscreen, OSI, 1920 x 1080, And as soon as I click 'Run Stress Test' or 'Run Benchmark' I get a white screen and then my computer turns straight off without warning. I have the Asus Strix GTX 970.

Why is it doing this and could this be related to the Kernel Power Issue I am having? Or is this a different issue altogether?

Specs;

Motherboard: Asus Maxiumus VIII Hero
Processor: i7 6700K
Cooler: Corsair Hydro H100i V2 GTX
RAM: Corsair Vengance LPX - 16GB - 3000MHz - DDR4
Graphics Card: Asus Strix GTX 970 4GB
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB
PSU: EVGA SuperNova G2 550W

Solution
You may have enough power, but that's only if the power supply is functioning correctly. I'd remove that power supply and test it in another computer if possible. The other thing that stands out is your cooler, I don't suppose you have a heatsink/fan you could use to see if removing the cooler changes things?
