Thanks for the extra details!
Crucial memory part number CT2K102464BF186D is compatible (ie memory has been manufacturer tested and verified as working with the motherboard). So incompatibility is not the issue here.
First. Make sure the 2 x 8 GB modules are seated properly. Then clear CMOS and try to boot again.
If still have problems booting, try to boot with ONE of the two 8 GB modules.
If system boots and runs with ONE 8 GB module installed, then shutdown and add the second 8 GB module and try booting again.
If system doesn't boot with ONE 8 GB module installed, then try the second 8 GB module in its place (ie swap modules and still trying to boot with just ONE 8 GB module).
If system doesn't boot with either of the 8 GB modules installed, then possibly the 8 GB modules might be faulty.
In this case, boot into BIOS (using old memory as required) and set DRAM Voltage manually to 1.40 V and try the 8 GB modules again (one at a time, then both).
If system still doesn't boot with either or both 8 GB modules installed AND DRAM Voltage has been set to 1.40 V, then boot into BIOS (using old memory as required) and raise DRAM Voltage to 1.45 V. Try to boot with the 8 GB modules again (one at a time and then both).
