Gpu usage spikes

Hi all, i cannot seem to find a solution for my problem regarding my gpu usage spikes. I have tried everything running my pc in safe mode and running malwarebytes to remove all my virusses. It happens when i play games like battlefield 4 or any game for that matter my framerate is constantly on 85fps then drops to 5fps or sometimes like 15fps and then back up to 85fps. I have the newest drivers installed. Its probably good to mention that i had no problem before but then i ran malwarebytes on safemode to remove some virusses and the problem occurred after this was done. Any help would be much appreciated thanks!

500gb hdd
Core i5 6600k
Gigabyte gtx 750 ti windforce edition

I don't think running Malwarebytes caused the problem, I think the fact that you had to 'remove some viruses' is the problem. I recommend wiping your drive and reinstalling everything. I would not trust your system to be clean or not gummed up in some way at this point.
