I was wiping a hard drive and then my pc crashed. When I rebooted the computer it says missing operating system and I tried messing around in my BIOS but it didn't work and know it's at Reboot and Select proper Boot Device and everytime I try to reboot it goes back to the same thing. Help

Solution
If the old hdd was connected when you installed windows on the other, that'll be why.

When you installed windows the bootloader may have installed on the older hdd.

When you formatted the old hdd, it would have deleted the bootloader. Result you cant boot

So you may have to reinstall windows. But this time if the old hdd is still connected unplug it before you reinstall windows

Connect it after windows has been installed
