You've already asked this question. You should have continued from your other post

You unzip the zip file then run the setup file

but anyways, i tried installing the msi drivers (came in a zip file) but dont know how to use it

The Nvidia ones, maybe HDMI theyre not Realtek

Do you use HDMI? If you do install the video drivers

Did you plug anything into the speaker output to see if sound works?

    download and install that .
then you can right click on the realtek zip file that you downloaded and select extract.. once you have extracted the files there should be an install or setup.exe.. run that and it will then install the drivers you downloaded for your sound.

Did you install the audio drivers? Are you using a sound card or the audio from the motherboard?

Regardless of where the sound is coming from, you need to install the proper drivers before you can get sound.
  14. FYI, don't spam
  15. I don't think i have hdmi connected. the only thing plugged into my pc is a DVI cable (connected to gpu) keyboard, mouse, wifi and usb. But i do have a hdmi cable it came with the motherboard
  16. But the GPU has HDMI on it. ?? If it does install the video drivers
  17. if your monitor doesn't have speakers or any kind of audio output then that is why it is giving the red x at the moment . once you install the realtek drivers and connect either your speakers or headphones etc to either your cases front panel audio or to the rear green audio connector you should hear sound.

this will depend on if his monitor is capable of audio output though but if it is.. yes just connect the hdmi lead because dvi doesn't transmit sound just picture .
  19. True and it doesn't look like its got speakers but it does have a 3.5mm on the back
  20. YES!!!! thank you so much

well that gives him 2 choices! plug speakers into the 3.5mm or headphones... or do the same with the pc when the realtek drivers are installed.. infact with front panel and back panel plus the monitor that is 3 choices.. come on you can do this op!!!!
