Should I get a GL502VS-DB71 or a GL502VS-DS71?, which one would be more powerful in the long run? I saw that the DB71 has a 256GB SSD, and a 7200RPM HDD, and that the DS71 has a 128GB SSD, and a 5200RPM HDD. This is why the Kaby Lake version is cheaper. The fact that it doesn't have much space on the SSD doesn't bother me, nor, does the slow 5200RPM drive. I am planning on upgrading to a 4TB HDD and a 512GB SSD in the future. On BestBuy's website, it said that the DS71, has 2 slots that are both being used by 8GB ram (total 16GB). Is this a mistake on BestBuys end? because normally it would have one slot occupied by 16GB. I only want to know this because, I would like to upgrade to 32GB of ram in the future. And last thing, does this PC have Thunderbolt 3 (for external GPU's) and does it have a backlit keyboard?

Thanks

If the kaby-lake is cheaper, and you plan to upgrade the drives, just go with that. The kaby-lake is clocked higher, and even the kaby-lake integrated graphics comes with new codecs to play 4k videos with low cpu usage.
