Hi ! A few weeks ago my computer stopped working, when I turned it on, it made 1 long beep and 2 short and turned of immediatly. I changed my gtx 970 graphic card for a new one and the problem was solved. Now, my girlftiend tried to turn on her computer and she has the same problem, it makes 1 long beep and 2 shorts, but her computer doesn't shut down immediatly and the fans won't turn on, also there's nothing happening on the screen... her graphic card was working well before and it's a gtx 960. Any reason 2 graphic cards would stop working on a short laps of time ?

Do you have power issues in your home? Do you use a surge protector for your computer? Do either or both of you use cheap power supplies in your computers? These are just some possibilities.
