Recently came upon a local deal for the i7-6700k brand new at $200 while building my first PC. It started as an i3-7300 build hence the 500w PSU, until I got the i7.
I've already purchased everything including my PSU, but my PSU (EVGA 500 W1, 80+ WHITE 500W Power Supply) was more recently purchased and is still within its return dates.
So my question is: Is the EVGA 500w power supply able to handle light over clocking on the i7-6700k paired with an MSI RX 480 8gb Armor? Or should I return it in favor of another PSU?
