So far I've only had my computer completely freeze up while playing a video game. Everything stops including videos the game and no mouse or keyboard inputs work. [This is on Windows 10]

Things to note:
I've recently formatted all my hard drives and reinstalled windows on a Samsung ssd 500gb.
I've patched windows immediately after installing.
Installed nvidia software to update card drivers.

Things downloaded:
League of legends
Origin
Mass Effect Andromeda
Civilization 6
VLC
Skype
MSI kombuster
MSI Afterburner
Blizzard app
Diablo 3
Overwatch

As far as hardware is concerned I haven't physically touched anything since reinstalling windows and never once had this issue before it.

Really not sure what is causing this and any help would be really appreciated.

I assume you have uninstalled and done a fresh install of Nvidia drivers once already? What are your GPU temps?

We will have to isolate and change each part one by one to find out the cause of the freezing. Harder in this case because the computer only fails during gaming.

You haven't listed your PSU. To rule it out as the culprit, can you test on a spare PSU? Then, try switching out your graphics card for another working one (you'll have to install appropriate drivers) and see if the computer still freezes. If yes, put your old card back in (since it's fine), run with a single stick of RAM. If that doesn't work, your mobo would seem like the faulty component.

I have deleted and reinstalled drivers. Gpu temps I'll have to let you know. I have to check. I'll give that option a try to see if it works with older Gpu. I don't have an extra psu though. Oh and my psu is a 950w.
