What should I upgrade for more fps? (Hardware)

Hello! I was looking for some guidance on what should my next upgrade be.
My current build:

CPU: Intel i7-4770k
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 24gb
Motherboard: MSI Z87 MPOWER MAX
GPU: GeForce GTX 1070 (Asus ROG Stryx OC edition)
Storage: SSD Samsung 850 PRO 500gb
PSU: Corsair 850w

I was thinking on getting:
Ryzen 7 1700x or the Ryzen 5 1600x (plus a new motherboard for this CPU)
DDR4 RAM at 32gb
Samsung 960 EVO m.2 internal SSD (would this improve loading times for games?)

I game on a 165Hz 1440p monitor. Are these good ideas or should I change something else for improving fps? I was trying to do some research and found out that 2x GTX 1070 are not that worth it as they don't work on all games, plus the boost in fps is slight?

I'm also thinking on streaming so the 6 core or 8 core of both CPU's seem good.

Thanks for any help!

Honestly I'd hold back on the cooling for now. Chances are you don't need it right away as your i7 still should be able to produce sufficient frames.

First thing you should upgrade is the GPU, if you notice a bottleneck then start OC the CPU.
As for liquid coolers, EK & custom loops would be preferred, but if it's your first liquid cooler a solid AIO solution like the NZXT Kraken is probably wiser. Look for models with 2 fans.
The Ryzen CPUs will give you less FPS than your current i7 most likely but is an interesting choice for streaming and editing
There's no game that uses that many RAM currently.

The only real upgrade would be going for a 1080/Ti with this screen as the 1070 struggles to deliver that many FPS @1440p

Hmm I didn't see that, guess its not the best idea to upgrade my motherboard/cpu just yet.
There's hopefully going to be a bunch of development on that area in the following years, with the new releases from AMD.
I will check the 1080Ti out!
Thank you!

If you're not in a hurry wait for the new vega gpu's, I believe the rx 490 will be as good as the gtx 1080 with the information I've gotten so far.

That 1070 is holding you back. Your CPU should be ok. I use a GTX1080 at 1440 on a 144hz panel and I'm getting anywhere between 70 and 110fps in ME Andromeda on ultra settings with a Ryzen 1700x. I'd also wait until AMD announces their new Vega cards and see what kind of performance those have. Might save you some money over a 1080 or 1080Ti

The monitor is G-Sync! So I should stick to GeForce (sorry for not clarifying that earlier), but thanks for the suggestions! I think ill get a good water cooler and OC the CPU as Lucky_SLS proposed. As well the 1080ti sounds promising as to what I have heard from reviews today and yesterday!

Seems like a good upgrade would be a new case that can fit a good water cooling system, plus the 1080ti, any suggestions for that?
Thank you!
