So I found this hot af deal on a 480gb OCZ Trion 150 SSD. I read some reviews, and I have found OCZ's ugly "past" about high failure rates. So, I want to know if they're still that bad. I have hear lots of good things about them now. What are your experiences with the OCZ Trion. And any other ~500GB SSD recommendations?

I heard a lot also, but from personal experience. I was told my OCZ vertex 3s max Iops would die in a year. Everyone said they were horrible. I updated the firmware in them 2 days after i bought them for 300 each 120 gbs lol expensive back then. Anyways i have had them for 6 years now in raid. Many fresh installs, loaded all the way up with 0 Gigs left. They are still holding strong, i have never had a issue with them. I check the life of them they are both at 100 percent, with that being said its been on 24/7 since i bought it. Well ido shut it off but on most of the time. So far i love the OCZ SSds
