Seagate barracuda or Western digital Blue 1terabyte ?

both are same config,64MB cache, but I heard something iffy about western blue hard drives, seagate is recommended many places i've seen.
which one should I go for ?

For storage only I like the WD Green line. If you need faster storage, WD Black/Blue will suffice.

Personally, I would choose the cheaper one. I've got 7200.10 an 7200.11 barracuda's from the mid 2000's still alive and well. Same goes for WD drives, blue, black and green.

What's the purpose of the drive you're wanting? Storage, operating system?
