I am thinking to make an upgrade to 16 gb of ram. I have an AMD FX-8310 processor. Will work this 2 sticks in dual mode channel ? Thanks !
Mix 1x8gb 1600 mhz stick with 1x8gb 1866 mhz.

What motherboard do you have? The best that you can expect is to get dual channel at 1600 mhz. The worst that you can expect is that, mixing memory, the machine won't boot until you raise the memory voltage.
