Hi,
I'm in doubt between gtx 1060 or gtx 1070, as the title says, it's for 900p 60hz and sometimes 1080p 60hz.
In my country the price difference between the two cards is about 155 dollars.
Which is the best option if I want to play the next 2 or 3 years in high - ultra?

My pc specs:
- i5 6500
- Corsair 16gb
- B150 Pro Gaming Aura
- EVGA 430w 80+
- EVGA 750ti 2gb (current graphic card)

Thanks.

Solution
that will be a bad investment. if you're doing 900p 60hz, get the gtx1060 (the cheapest one). use that 155$ to fund your next GPU upgrade(and sell the gtx1060) once the next gen comes (gtx1160). thing is, new hardware gens are more efficient. take the gtx1060/gtx960 and gtx1070/gt970 situation. they both roughly consume the same amount of power but the newer ones are almost twice as fast.

personally, that's what i've doing the past couple of years, gtx650 > 960 > 1060. the higher end GPU's depreciation rate is quite hard to bear.

the higher the better

but here as you mention matters the budget, if you can affor the 1070, go for that one, if not, well, 1060 looks good, but the 6 gbs model

the problem here is that hte psu you have is 430 watts only, it is on the limit to be enough for any of those gpus

"GTX 1060 or RX 480 --> 1080p / ~60Hz
GTX 1070 --> 1080p / ~100Hz+ or 1440p / ~60Hz
GTX 1080 --> 1080p / ~120Hz+ or 1440p / ~100Hz+
GTX 1080Ti --> 1080p / ~120Hz+++ or 1440p / ~120Hz++"

The RX480 or the GTX 1060 would be your best choice, considering budget and your resolutions. Even the 1060 3GB models would be enough to be playing high on 900p/1080p at 60hz for years to come. RX 480 is 4GB VRAM and a good choice above the 3GB 1060. If budget allows, get the 1060 6GB.

Additional note: Since your PSU is 430w, and the RX480 should be used with at least a 500w, stick to the 1060s.

Thanks guys, I know the psu is on the limit, but I don't overclock cpu, ram or gpu, anyway I'll buy a better psu in a few months.
I think buy the Strix 1070, will the EVGA 430w be enough? or I should buy a new psu and then the 1070?
Thanks!

I would get a 1060, even if it has to be the 3gb version. Then get a good 1080p monitor as your next upgrade whenever you can. There is no way I'd spend the money on a 1070 if all I had was a 900p monitor. Your power supply is fine for a 1060.

But if all you have is a 430W power supply and 900p monitor and you're spending all that money on a 1070?!?! Madness!
