I am looking to buy a budget laptop (portable), I came across two options on with A6 7310 and the other with A8 6410 (a gen older but on same 28 nm node) rest all config remains the same and the price (300$) is also the same. Couldn't find a clear article which points which is better of these two in terms of CPU performance as well as GPU (mainly GPU, R4 in 7310 vs R5 in 6410). I occasionally play FIFA and CS GO and less demanding titles (basically not a hardcore gamer but likes to pass some time on games over the weekends). Looking for some advice from the community before going ahead

Any other similar solutions on intel side are also welcome which can offer similar performance at the same price

I took a quick look, it seems that they are very close in performance. Considering that neither system is designed for gaming, I'd go with the one that is configured closest to what you want in terms of other components. In other words, for gaming, I don't think it matters which one you choose. If the game runs on one, it'll run on the other. If it doesn't run well on one, it won't run well on the other.
