Hello, Everyone I have All the parts to my computer, and I need a UPS for under 120 dollars. I would like a Ups that can give me some extra time to save my files, like 5-10 minutes. I would like the UPS to stay on for 5-10 minutes after all the things like brownouts, blackouts, power outs, and EVERYTHING like that. My specs are 16gb ddr4 ram, asus B150-A/M.2 (https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/B150M-A-M-2/) and an i5-6600, 3.3 ghz. I would really appreciate it if an expert at things like this could show me a very good UPS that has all of my needs on here. Thank you for everyone who can help, have a great Day! Also, I have heard a UPS should have a notification when you lose power, automatic shutdown, and battery replacement warnings, and all things like that. Thank you guys!

the 24" monitor usually eats 80 watts, more or less, you have the model and documentation and can confirm the exact value

the gtx uses around 150watts

the cpu around 80

the other components use around 30 watts more or less

add all those values and you get a estimated power consumption form the pc and monitor

the value determines the size in watts on the ups you need, in this case is around 340 watts more or less

the 500 watts ups should last 5 minutes maximum

so you need a bigger one

about brands, no, i can't tell you brands, if i recomend one and dies soon, i will be the one to blame, what i can tell you is get a 650 watts ups to be sure it will give you the 10 minutes

the bigger the ups the better in terms of time

the time that the ups can survive depends on the load applied to it, if it is a 500 watts psu and you apply 200 watts of load, it will last 12 minutes more or less

if you apply the 500 watts or it overloads or lasts 4 or 5 minutes

the bigger the better

on that i5, you have a gpu or just the onboard gpu on the cpu?

if the machine is average and you have a 20" monitor, a 500 watts ups should give you what you want

the 5 to 10 minutes, possibly more

apc is very popular, i have a cheap startec psu, i think it is a no brand psu, but has worked woll for 2 years, i think next year the battery in it should die and i will need a new ups

some ups will let you change the battery easily, others, well, they die with the battery, so you need a new one each 2 or 3 years

based on that idea, find the one on amazon with the best rating, 4 or 5 stars, there who decides is you based on the reviews and the price
