custom water cooling sli and overclock cpu

I was thinking of getting 2 1080ti's and overclocking them...CHOICES are ASUS POSIEDON, MSI SEAHAK EK X, EVGA FTW3 (I HOPE THEY COME OUT WITH A EK WATERBLOCK OPTION CAUSE I LOVE THE DUAL BIOS OPTION FOR OVERCLOCKING) I want to water cool my whole system(mobo and all) for the first time(see rig in sig). I am a newbie in this area and want to incorporate water cooling into my hobby of computers... I have a HAF X. ASUS MAXIMUS VII FORMULA, 4790K @4.4 everyday and 4.8 for gaming only..... I have 2 780ti classifieds now that I am replacing...I was hoping that an EK X360 kit mounted inside with one additional 140mm radiator w/ an EK-vardar fan,or led phantec( I have two red led phantek fans140mm) 140mm fan mounted externally would be enough....140mm rad would have two be externally mounted for space or can be mounted inside the case near the large 230mm led cooler master fan that came with the case, or I can mount the 360mm rad in pull configuration making room for 140mm rad to be mounted inside due to the fans being mounted on top for the 360mm rad..... what to do???

500mm of rad space should be enough and will fit in my case as 360mm + 140mm.

I don't know if I need the extreme EK kit but it has good reviews..i think 2m of tubing is not enough though!!

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=2YM-0010-00027 $389 X360 kit
https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-vardar-f3-140er-2000rpm $28 140mm fan
https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-coolstream-ce-140-single $70 140mm rad

TOTAL =========$487.00

my budget for water cooling is $500 .......ANY SUGESTIONS !!!!!!!
IS 500MM ENOUGH?......

or sould I just water cool the 1080ti's and leave my NOCTUA DH-15 , which is doing a great job, cooling cpu(temps never above 70c under full load), because I believe ther is pleanty of room for a 360mm rad (in pull configuration)between the cpu cooler and top of HAF X case......

For mobo, 2 GPUs, and your CPU? 500mm is too little. Other than the motherboard cooling, I have the same setup. I use 480mm. 20mm isn't enough for a mobo.
My custom loop fits my CPU and 2 1080tis, and the entire loop cost me about 1.2k.
2m isn't even close to enough tubing. Although it comes pretty dang close if you use soft tubes.
Is $500 your entire budget? For tubes, rads, fans, pumps, reservoir, coolant and fittings?

the motherboard is cross chill and does not need to be water cooled, vrm never goes above 50c on mobo...

$500 is the budget!!! I was going by 3 components = 360mm plus 1x 120mm for buffer equaling 480mm...

I thought 500 whould be good

I take it you don't like my EK water cooling suggestion in the op

do I mount to 240mm external. and why the additional reservoir beings that the kit comes with one that is a pump also.. I am guessing the d5 pump and larger resevior are better
$672 without the fans...... I hope this is good

The CPU kit's reservoir and pump don't have enough space for the required coolant for 3 parts, and they only have 2 tubing slot holes each (about 4 are required). The D5 pump and the reservoir are the same that I have, and they are truly great parts.

is this muck better that what I was going to go in the begging of this thread!!!???

Well looks like some changes need to be made.
I'm making these notes assuming this is your case: http://www.coolermaster.com/case/full-tower/haf-x/
So here are the listed spaces for rads:
Top: 200mm
Front: 230mm
Rear: 140mm

Unfortunately I'm not exactly sure how to proceed here. The case doesn't have the space for any standard radiators. At the beginning you said that you were going to mount a 360mm rad. Chances are, you know your case better than I do. Do I have the wrong link?

360 rad fits inside case under where the two top fans are located....its in the specs... I think I can mount the 240 externally where the 140mm exaust fan is or I can mount a 140mm externally that will bolt rite up in push/pull. that was the reason for the 360mm + 140mm config in the first place. th3 140 can go inside the case where the large 230mm led fan is now or the 360 can be installed in pull config so the 140mm can be mounted inside wherethe the 140mm exasuhst is now..... prob best to put 360 on top and 140mm external. NO MODDING WITH THAT CONFIG
